Evening skincare routine for teen skin: step by step
Nights are for repair. Follow this 3-step sequence and keep treatment to the nights that suit your skin.
The sequence
cleanse → light moisturizer → BHA 1–2 nights if congested.
Active nights and recovery nights
Use BHA 1–2 nights if congested on two or three nights, spaced apart. On the others, cleanse gently and use only barrier cream.
If T-zone oiliness flares after an active night, extend the gap to every third night.
Avoid at night
Harsh scrubs and copying adult retinol routines too early tend to undo evening progress — leave them out for the first month.
A seven-day starter schedule
Mornings stay identical; evenings alternate between BHA 1–2 nights if congested nights and recovery nights.
