Evening skincare routine for oily skin: step by step
Nights are for repair. Follow this 3-step sequence and keep treatment to the nights that suit your skin.
The sequence
gentle cleanse → light gel moisturizer → optional BHA.
Active nights and recovery nights
Use optional BHA on two or three nights, spaced apart. On the others, cleanse gently and use only barrier cream.
If shine by midday flares after an active night, extend the gap to every third night.
Avoid at night
Alcohol-heavy toners and thick balms in the T-zone tend to undo evening progress — leave them out for the first month.
A seven-day starter schedule
Mornings stay identical; evenings alternate between optional BHA nights and recovery nights.
Is your oily skin routine actually fair to your skin?
