30-day skincare plan for rosacea

A 30-day plan gives rosacea a fair test without turning your bathroom into a lab. Each week has one job.

Week 1: baseline

Scan cheeks, nose, chin and central forehead. Cut the routine to ultra-gentle cleanser, moisturizer and SPF. Start a trigger log and switch to fragrance-free, mineral SPF 50 every day.

Week 2: first active

Introduce azelaic acid on two nights. Keep notes on how skin feels, not just how it looks.

Week 3: steady state

Hold the routine. If skin is comfortable, add one night of azelaic acid; if not, stay at two. Avoid fragrance, hot water rinses and strong physical scrubs.

Week 4: review

Compare week-one and week-four scans of cheeks, nose, chin and central forehead. Decide: keep, adjust or swap in niacinamide.

Remember that six to ten weeks to learn which triggers matter, and results are managed rather than cured; day 30 is a checkpoint.
