30-day skincare plan for neck lines

A 30-day plan gives neck lines a fair test without turning your bathroom into a lab. Each week has one job.

Week 1: baseline

Scan front and sides of the neck and upper chest. Cut the routine to extend face SPF to neck, moisturizer and SPF. Extend sunscreen and moisturizer down to the collarbone daily.

Week 2: first active

Introduce retinol on two nights. Keep notes on how skin feels, not just how it looks.

Week 3: steady state

Hold the routine. If skin is comfortable, add one night of retinol; if not, stay at two. Avoid stopping routine at jawline only.

Week 4: review

Compare week-one and week-four scans of front and sides of the neck and upper chest. Decide: keep, adjust or swap in peptides.

Remember that three months for texture and tone to look more even; day 30 is a checkpoint.

If things do not go to plan

Most setbacks are predictable. Here is what to do about each.

Is your neck lines routine actually fair to your skin?

Answer honestly before adding or swapping a product. Most plateaus are explained by one of these.

What if I miss a few days?
